Water is the most important resource we have. It is in every cell of every living organism on this planet, not just the 8 billion humans. By focusing on water we create an awareness of life itself and what it means to all of us.
The style of the photos distils the very element of water down to its simplest form. In doing so it evokes a spiritual relationship that man has with water and the essential nature of life.
Water the Essential started as a book project that explores the purity and majesty of water and its life giving properties, for plants, animals, humans and all living organisms.
The narrative is about finding the source of water from the peaks of the mountains right through to the street fountains.
